Case study: Mangotree Marketing

Mangotree is a marketing agency.  Mangotree helps its client's establish their brands, makes them famous and more profitable – easily understood, but not always straightforward to achieve.

A key tool in their marketing armoury is the marketing database's we developed. Each solution provides for the collection and analysis of their clients data.

Their approach has two strands - strategic consultancy and full campaign implementation. Whilst some clients cherry-pick one of the two strands, most work with Mangotree across both. They deliver an end-to-end service resulting in targeted communication designed to positively influence a client's business.

To target their clients customers, they needed to:

  • Analyse their clients sales data
  • Identify potential opportunities
  • Execute promotional campaigns.

Not having data specialist resource in-house, Nigel Bruce, Mangotree's MD, identified Information Drivers as having the expertise they required.

Solution

Information Drivers implemented marketing databases for Mangotree clients, providing Mangotree with the capability to:

  • Manage on-going collection of client data (customer registrations and promotional responses)
  • Undertake detailed data analysis; and
  • Plan future communications

In each case the solution included:

  • Business requirement definition and technical specification
  • Implementation of marketing database: development of data management processes to dedupe customer records, deliver a single contact record for each customer and maintain related contact history; automate refresh of client data
  • Client specific reports and analyses
  • Delivery of training for business users in terms of use-of-data and querying
  • On-going Technical support, as required
